PERSONE SENZA DIMORA E PROCESSI D’INCLUSIONE SOCIALE. IL CASO DELL’ ONDS A MESSINA
ABSTRACT. L’articolo affronta il tema dell’inclusione sociale delle persone “senza dimora” contribuendo al dibattito, tenutosi nel 2013 in occasione della VI Conferenza annuale di Espanet Italia a Cosenza, sul disagio sociale e sulle politiche d’intervento più adatte ad affrontare i nuovi bisogni delle persone che oggi vivono in strada. A tal fine, esso racconta l’esperienza di ricerca-azione condotta dall’Osservatorio Nazionale sul disagio e la solidarietà nelle stazioni italiane svolta presso le stazioni centrale e marittima di Messina. Accanto ad un’analisi della ricerca condotta sul disagio sociale dentro la stazione, il contributo si focalizza sulle azioni messe in campo dall’ONDS per rispondere ai bisogni individuati degli utenti, evidenziando le criticità e i punti di forza.
RESUME. The article deals with the topic of social inclusion of homeless, contributing to the debate, that took place at the VI Conference of Espanet Italy in Cosenza, on social hardship and the policies to take on the new needs of persons living in the streets. To this end, it illustrates the experience of research and action made by National Observatory for social hardship and solidarity (ONDS) in the railstation of Messina. After the analysis of the research done in the station, the article focuses on the ONDS’ actions to respond to the needs of the users, stressing the critical issues and the strong points.
