ARGOT, LENGUAJE SOEZ Y CENSURA EN EL DOBLAJE ESPAÑOL DE BREAKING BAD
ABSTRACT. El presente estudio se centra en la traducción de los principales aspectos lingüísticos y culturales que caracterizan la serie televisiva estadounidense Breaking Bad. El análisis comparativo de la traducción de dos versiones dobladas -del inglés al español peninsular, por un lado, y al español neutro, por otro – ha permitido llevar a cabo una descripción detallada de las técnicas y estrategias empleadas para recrear un texto meta adecuado a la audiencia receptora y conseguir el efecto equivalente.
ABSTRACT. The present study focuses on the specific cultural and linguistic-specialized aspects of the American TV series Breaking Bad. The analysis of the translation, based on a comparison between two different modalities of dubbing translation – from English into peninsular Spanish, on the one hand, and into neutral Spanish, on the other – has produced a detailed description of the techniques and the strategies that have been used to recreate a target text suitable to the receiving audience and to achieve the equivalent effect.
