“NEL SENSO, CHI L’HA MAI VISTA?” LA PERCEZIONE DELLA MAFIA NEI DETENUTI PER 416 BIS DELLA CASA CIRCONDARIALE CATANIA BICOCCA
ABSTRACT. Nel presente contributo vengono analizzate le autobiografie dei detenuti per associazione di tipo mafioso nella Casa Circondariale Catania Bicocca, al fine di indagare la percezione della mafia e del reato di cui all’art. 416 bis. c.p. Attraverso le loro parole vengono esplorate le controversie e i problemi posti da tale fattispecie penale e l’idea che essi si sono fatti in merito. È posta infine attenzione sulle modalità con le quali i detenuti estensori delle autobiografie si sono confrontati con l’etichetta di “mafiosi”.
ABSTRACT. This paper examines the autobiographies of prisoners by mafia-type association in the Catania Bicocca District House, in order to investigate the perception of the mafia and the crime of mafia association (article 416 bis of the Italian Penal Code). Through their words, the controversies and problems posed by this criminal case and the idea that they have made about it are explored. Finally, attention is paid to the ways in which the inmate writers of the autobiographies have dealt with the label of “mafiosi”.
