EMOZIONARTI.

ABSTRACT. Is a museum a place of and for everyone? Approaching Methodologies towards Cultural and Environmental Heritage, especially if related to visual and verbal ways of communication, tend to “exclude” rather than create episodes of “inclusive” culture when it comes to building up individual and collective identity. Therefore, the re-building of new and interesting events through which people can share and reproduce their experience at the museum is of essential importance. Such events should be carried out in dynamic, intelligent contexts, conceived through different criteria: harmony, functionality and universality. Is it possible for a blind person to be moved by a work of art? Not only does the project “Emozionarti” answer this question but it also allows museums to be transformed into didactic environments whose aim is that of conveying emotions. All of it is combined with the educational aim of giving people knowledge of art in all its forms. A new educational plan is offered. It is dynamic and full of artistic interactions of great sensitive sharing: an assault on the senses carried out through sounds, perfumes, tastes and tactile sensations that overwhelm people making them feel as if they were the protagonists of the work of art itself. Such project gives the city and the surrounding environment the possibility to offer a different experience to those who want to perceive the museum as a learning environment. Moreover, great and constant attention to the most vulnerable brackets of the population is guaranteed.
