L’EVOLUZIONE DELL’IDEA DI NATURA COME MECCANISMO, STORIA, ORGANISMO
ABSTRACT. In questo lavoro gli autori si propongono di seguire i tre stadi fondamentali che hanno segnato l’evoluzione del concetto di Natura. Mostrano che gli scienziati classici ne hanno delineato un’immagine meccanicistica; che nell’Ottocento ne è stata individuata la struttura storica; che nella seconda metà
del Novecento è stata descritta come una grande organismo vivente.
ABSTRACT. In this essay the authors intend to follow the three fundamental stages which have pointed the evolution of the concept of Nature. They show how the classical scientists have given a mechanistic image of it; in the nineteenth century its historical structure was determined; in the second half of the twentieth century it has been described as a big living organism.
