SULL’IRREVERSIBILITÀ DEL TEMPO LA LEZIONE FILOSOFICA DI ILYA PRIGOGINE*
ABSTRACT. Questo contributo intende approfondire la relazione fra scienza e filosofia attraverso la riflessione epistemologica di Ilya Prigogine. La questione del tempo, che diventa la struttura stessa dei fenomeni fisici, apre lo scienziato russo – belga di origine ebraica, al pensiero della filosofia, da Aristotele sino a Bergson. E’ comunque possibile tracciare qualche linea di corrispondenza anche con il pensiero ebraico novecentesco e la tradizione talmudica e kabbalista. Sia sulle tesi scientifiche, relative all’origine dell’universo, sia sulla struttura temporale della vita in tutte le sue manifestazioni, risulta evidente che tradizioni differenti –come la scienza e pensiero ebraico- possono confluire in modo sorprendente. Si vedrà allora come sia possibile vedere coesistere, all’interno della materia e tempo e eternità, e essere e divenire, e anche e ordine e disordine, e simmetria e asimmetria, e reversibilità e irreversibilità, in nome della complessità dell’universo e della vita degli uomini
ABSTRACT. This contribution intends to deepen the relationship between science and philosophy through the epistemological reflection of Ilya Prigogine. The question of time, which becomes the very structure of physical phenomena, opens the Russian- Belgian scientist of Jewish origin, to the thought of philosophy, from Aristotle to Bergson. It is however possible to trace some correspondence lines also with twentieth-century Jewish thought and the Talmudic and Kabbalist tradition. Both on the scientific theses, relative to the origin of the universe, and on the temporal structure of life in all its manifestations, it is evident that different traditions – like science and Jewish thought – can flow in a surprising way. We will then see how it is possible to see coexistence within matter and time and eternity, and being and becoming, and also and order and disorder, and symmetry and asymmetry, and reversibility and irreversibility, in the name of the complexity of the universe and of life some men.
